CI confidence interval, EA epigenetic age, EAA epigenetic age acceleration, EAD epigenetic age difference, rC, Lin’s concordance correlation for strength of agreement between EA and chronological age. Chronological age was measured at health examination, and epigenetic age measures were estimated from blood sample taken at health examination. Apparently healthy participants defined as non-smoking participants with none of the metabolic syndrome features. Coefficient of bias derived as the ratio of Lin’s rC and Pearson’s r. EAD is the absolute difference between epigenetic and chronological age. EAA is the unexplained residual of regression of EA on chronological age
